Colourmusic’s My _____ is Pink is out next week in the UK – and bloody ace it is too. And y’know, people are saying some nice things about it. NME exclaim “Like DFA 1979 at their most primal” while Uncut say “Excellent genre busting from US/UK Newcomers” and Loud and Quiet saying it’s “a thrillingly loud experimental guitar record”. Which is nice.
But what do colourmusic say? Head here to find out:
Fresh off the back of their first headline tour, the downright lovely Dutch Uncles have announced a host of new UK and European dates in the run up to the release of their eagerly awaited Cadenza album, due out 25th April. How delightful!
Along with a plethora of festivals this spring and summer, the lads are playing around the UK on a headline tour in May. You can find out the whys and wherefores of where they’ll be playing, along with links to buy tickets over in the Live section.
And if the release of Cadenza and announcing a new tour wasn’t enough, over in our online store we’re giving you the chance to buy exclusive Dutch Uncles’ bundles! There’s 2 options, one with a limited edition t-shirt and a pre-order of Cadenza, and a second which includes a ticket to their release show, and biggest headline gig to date at London’s XOYO on the 27th April. Really, what more could you want? We’re all very excited.
They’ve only just got back to New Zealand, but The Phoenix Foundation have just announced that they’re returning to the UK/Europe for the Summer. They must love us. Or something.
The May UK tour will include performances at the Great Escape and Dot To Dot Festivals, club shows throughout England and Scotland, and a headline show at London’s Scala on June 2nd.
Ticket links and full calendar of dates can be found on the Live page. More shows to be confirmed shortly
