barbarossa shares new single "recliner"

Barbarossa has shared his tender and dreamy new single “recliner“! Recorded with friend and producer Ghost Culture in his studio in Margate, “Recliner” is a sneak preview from Barbarossa’s as yet unannounced new album – due out in 2021. Stream “Recliner” here or watch the video below.

Mathé has been releasing music under the moniker Barbarossa since 2006 having been signed to legendary Scottish imprint the Fence Collective for the albums “Sea of Blood” and “Chemical Campfires” and latterly to Memphis Industries for “Bloodlines”, “Imager” and “Lier”. His music has been used to soundtrack a whole host of TV shows including How I Met Your Mother, Suits and Elementary. He has also been a key part of Jose Gonzales’ live set up for many years.

Barbarossa will be releasing a new album in 2021, more details to be announced soon.

The Phoenix Foundation return with their new album “Friend Ship” on 16 october 2020. Featuring collaborations with Nadia Reid, Hollie Fullbrook (Tiny Ruins), Anita Clark and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. Hear the album’s lead-single “Hounds of Hell (with Nadia Reid)” below.

Blue States reissue classic album "nothing changes under the sun"

On 30 October 2020 Blue States will reissue their classic album “Nothing Changes Under the Sun” to mark its 20th year anniversary. It will be only the second vinyl pressing of the album since 2001 and comes with a limited edition bonus disc of previously unheard songs and remixes entitled “Trinity”.

francis lung shares new single "brooklyn gurls"

Francis Lung has shared his new single “Brooklyn Gurls”, the first new material since his 2019 debut album “A Dream Is U”. Originally written as his band Wu Lyf came to an end, the song remained dormant until Tom revisited it during his lockdown live stream shows. Stream “brooklyn gurls” below.
