Baba Ali announces new album "Laugh Like A Bomb" - first single "Burn Me Out" out now

Anglo-American duo Baba Ali return with the announcement of their second album Laugh Like A Bomb, set for release on Friday 21st April via Memphis Industries. Following the release of their debut ‘Memory Device’ in 2020 and 18 months of touring across Europe and the US, Baba Ali have created an incendiary follow up with one foot firmly placed on the dance floor, the other in a state of constant frenzy.

With the news, the pair have shared lead single ‘Burn Me Out’, a documentation of their creative ethos and the societal urge to overindulge to the point of exhaustion.

Watch the video for “Burn Me Out” below:

also available for listening on the following streaming services:

Spotify | Apple Music | Amazon Music | Tidal | Deezer

The record’s title is a phrase borrowed from a passage of the early 20th Century radical art manifesto BLAST! that Baba had encountered by chance on one sleepless night on tour. “The moment I saw the phrase ‘Laugh Like A Bomb’, I was immediately struck by how accurate it described what I was feeling at a time when we were touring hard and constantly working to earn just enough to get by.”

“Laugh Like A Bomb” is available to pre-order/pre-save from the following stores:

Rozi Plain new album "Prize" - out now

Rozi Plain returns with new album Prize, out now on Memphis Industries. On her fifth studio album, Rozi has assembled her widest cast of players to create an album that not only preserves the intimacy of her signature guitar-and-vocal sound, but accentuates these moments of calm, and explosive emotion, midst a soaring, collective spirit.

From the blissful vocals of This Is The Kit’s Kate Stables on ‘Agreeing For Two’, to the call-and response vocals on ‘Prove Your Good’; from the expansive instrumentation and ornately co-ordinated arrangements of ‘Help’ and ‘Sore’, to the sublime synth celebration explorations of ‘Painted The Room’, and the woozy jazz-inflected ‘Spot Thirteen’; there’s a sense of togetherness, and the very process of coming together, that permeates throughout the album’s ten tracks.
