Wireless World is the sound of Warm Digits at their sharpest and most crisp. An album full of propulsive and melodically rich songs, and for the first time featuring vocals from some of their favourite artists: Peter Brewis of Field Music, Sarah Cracknell of Saint Etienne, Devon Sproule, and Mia La Metta of Beards.

Wireless World is available to pre-order via Warm Digits website on limited edition Red vinyl, black vinyl and CD. The album is also available to pre-order digitally via Apple. All orders include an instant download of the single End Times (feat. Field Music).

new Poliça video "Lipstick Stains"

POLIÇA have dropped the video for their new single Lipstick Stains premiering via Noisey.

Directed by Adam Dunn, the video sees POLIÇA frontwoman Channy Leaneagh and choreographer Nkechi Njaka interpreting the thumping bass of Lipstick Stains through a modern dance routine.

Channy Leaneagh elaborates on the video direction:

"The video was shot in a small studio in northeast Minneapolis by director Adam Dunn using only his iPhone. I've always wanted to create a dance piece with my friend Nkechi Njaka, a choreographer and neuroscientist who has mentored me over the years in how to use meditation and movement as a live performer, and someone I really respect and am inspired by constantly. This was an opportunity to create movement with her in real time to a song that I care very much about."

Lipstick Stains is released alongside Still Counts for Record Store Day on Limited Edition White vinyl.

Both tracks are available digitally HERE.

new Poliça single "Still Counts"

POLIÇA have unleashed their brand new double A side single Lipstick Stains / Still Counts today premiering exclusively across Pitchfork and BBC Radio 6 Music.

The two new tracks will be available on limited edition white vinyl for Record Store Day 2017.

The new single sees POLIÇA collaborating with long time friends Boys Noize and Spank Rock. Boys Noize provides additional production on the languid, melancholic “Lipstick Stains”. While Spank Rock adds guest vocals to the corrosive electro-punk of “Still Counts” courtesy of a late-night studio session when Spank Rock was on tour in Minneapolis.

Vocalist Channy Leaneagh elaborates on the Spank Rock collaboration:

"Spank Rock is a rare lyrical gem and true musical artist of the damn finest quality. Naeem is one of my favourite people and artists and I'm sincerely honoured to have made something with him."

Warm Digits - End Times video

Electronic duo Warm Digits (AKA Newcastle-based Andrew Hodson and Steve Jefferis) have shared the video for "End Times" via Brooklyn Vegan. Much like the song itself (which features and was co-written by Field Music), the video is a collaboration: Newcastle-based analogue film collective Film Bee built visuals from fifty abstract 16mm film loops. Using ink, dye, marker pens and scalpels (not to mention an orbital sander) they drew, painted, dyed and scratched directly onto the film.

Layered heavily and intricately edited to the song, the film loops were then inter-weaved with Film Bee's footage of Warm Digits and guest vocalist Peter Brewis performing the song. The result is a retina-scorching apocalypse of colour, flicker and abstraction. Check it out below:
