The Go! Team share video for 'Mayday'

The Go! Team have unveiled a brand-new video for ‘Mayday‘, the current single from their top 40 album SEMICIRCLE.

Directed by James Slater, who also made the videos for previous The Go! Team singles including ‘Doing It Right‘, ‘Grip Like A Vice‘, ‘Rolling Blackouts‘, ‘T.O.R.N.A.D.O‘ and ‘Apollo Throwdown‘, explained the concept of the video.

“Like most of The Go! Team videos I’ve made, it’s a full on, coffee-fuelled collage of mixed media. This one is a collision of stop frame animation, archive flood disaster footage, rotoscoped singers and a crestfallen girl, who are all framed behind a storm of paper tears.”

Field Music 'Share A Pillow'

Field Music have shared their new song ‘Share A Pillow’ via Noisey today, taken from their upcoming album ‘Open Here’ – which is out 2nd February.

Centred around a Roxy Music-esque saxophone stomp that gives way to a characteristically inventive selection of vocal, guitar and horn arrangements, the track captures the jittery energy and surprising danceability that have become hallmarks of the band’s meticulously-crafted art pop.

New album ‘Open Here’ is available to pre-order on transparent 180g vinyl, CD and cassette from www.field-music.co.uk. Field Music have also announced a string of UK and European shows in 2018. The dates include special shows at the Barbican in London and The Northern Stage in Newcastle with strings, horns, woodwind and assorted percussion provided by the Open Here Orchestra.

Barbarossa announces new album 'Lier' / shares new track 'Don't Enter Fear'

Barbarossa has announced his brand new record ‘Lier‘. Recorded with the Ghost Culture and Joel Wästberg (aka sir Was) in Margate, it’s released on the 30th March. Lauren Laverne premiered a brand new track ‘Don’t Enter Fear’ this week on BBC Radio 6 Music and you can check it out right now.
