Field music announce new album "Making A New World"

Field Music have announced their new album, “Making A New World”, will be released on 10 January 2020. The new album, A 19 track song cycle about the after-effects of the First World War, is Field Music’s first true concept record. Check out the album’s lead single “Only In A Man’s World” below.

Field Music will be performing Making a New World in its entirety, with each song accompanied by visuals created by the band’s Kevin Dosdale. There will also be a bonus set of classics from the Field Music oeuvre.

sir was has released his new single “the sun will shine” from his new album “holding on to a dream” (out 20 Sep).

Alongside the new track is the video directed by Damien Priest that features Joel accompanied by a pair of lucha libre wrestlers. Watch the video below.

rachael dadd shares new single "beacon"

Rachael Dadd has shared her latest single “Beacon“, the next track to be taken from her new album “flux” (out 08 november 2019). Capturing the album’s theme of response to external and internal tides, “Beacon” is about the tide of knowledge and truth that we can choose to be immersed in, describing the collective responsibility to our own historical past and celebrating a growing collective wisdom and empathy. 2019 saw the brewis brothers embark on separate musical adventures – Peter’s album with Sarah Hayes as You Tell Me, and David’s Donald Trump funk musical, “45”, as School of Language but 2020 will see the return of Field Music.
